Welcome to your Access Legal Compliance newsletter

Each edition brings you the latest updates, practical tips, and expert insights to ensure your success every step of the way.

Risk Register & Money Laundering Suspicions refresh

The new look continues for Access Legal Compliance. We're excited to share that our refreshed design reaches two more of the modules you use most: Risk Register and Money Laundering Suspicions.

Both now match the cleaner, more modern interface introduced earlier this year, with insights at the top of each module, a clearer tabbed layout, and section-based forms - making it easier to log, track and review your firm's risks and suspicious activity reports.

Your data, settings and permissions stay exactly as they are, and you can switch over whenever you're ready, or flip back to the classic view at any time.

Your Support Cases, All in One Place with MyAccess

Keeping track of your support interactions is now even easier with MyAccess, giving you greater visibility of your support activity in one convenient place.

If you’re an entitled user, you can view your open and closed support interactions directly within MyAccess. Simply log in and select Support Cases from the main Dashboard or left-hand navigation menu to view your case history and keep track of progress. This includes any support conversations handled by our team via the Digital Assistant.

Everything in one place

Your support cases are automatically available within MyAccess, so there’s nothing extra you need to do. Conversations logged and resolved through the Digital Assistant are synchronised, giving you a more complete view of your support history.

Simply log in to MyAccess as normal and navigate to Support Cases.

Please be aware that MyAccess provides a view-only record of your support interactions. To provide updates or manage an open case, please continue to use the Digital Assistant.

Case information is refreshed every four hours, so you may occasionally notice a short delay before the latest information or status is displayed in MyAccess. This is expected and does not mean there is an issue with your case.

You’ll be able to view cases from the last three years. If you need information about an older case, please contact your usual Support team, who will be happy to help.

Are you a Supervisor?

If you have Supervisor access, you’ll have even greater visibility. In addition to viewing your own cases, you can view all support cases for your firm, making it easier to keep track of support activity across your organisation. This includes cases raised via the Digital Assistant alongside cases raised on the old portal.

Can’t see a case?

As case information is refreshed periodically, it may take a little time for a new case or recent update to appear.

If you believe a case is missing or displaying incorrectly after 24 hours, please contact your usual Support team and we’ll investigate.

We hope this makes it even easier to stay informed and keep track of your support cases through MyAccess.

Carter-Ruck - The Future of Regulatory Access to Privileged Material

Carter-Ruck isn't really about what regulators can't see. It's about whether law firms can prove they're doing the right thing when regulators can't see everything.

The judgment reinforces the importance of legal professional privilege, but it also highlights the need for robust governance, clear compliance records and defensible decision-making.

Rosanna Davenport shares her thoughts on the wider implications for law firms and compliance professionals. Read now >
